Bye Bye Pennsylvania

Our 11 days here has come to an end. It's been a nice time and we've all enjoyed it. The locals were friendly, although most were shocked that we chose Dubois as our centre.

"What makes you come here,  family?" followed by a "Wow"  when I told them it was just a random choice. I'm glad that we had a random choice to come here. The weather was great,  the surroundings amazing and a lovely quiet retreat.

Tomorrow we head off to Washington DC for a couple of days before making our way to New York. We have found out that the Pandas at the zoo have just had cubs so that will be the first port of call.

Our final meal in Dubois was at Luigi's. This was rated the top restaurant in the city. We have to agree that it certainly was good. We arrived at a quiet time, 4pm, so we didn't expect anyone else there. I was surprised when there were three other tables occupied. Offering traditional Italian food the restaurant is adorned with photographs of people who have been there.

I had Lobster ravioli, which was portioned just right with a nice sauce. The family had Skips Combo - a meatball,  cheese ravioli and pasta in marinara sauce and chicken ramanero (I think) - this was two large chicken breasts and pasta in marinara sauce. All were thoroughly stuffed by the end of the meal.
